MOVE AROUND BADAJOZ APP
After the huge success obtained with the mobility app for carsharing, the company Grupo Ruiz has once again relied on XOne technology to develop a new mobile application for traveling on urban transport in the city of Badajoz. An application that has meant an important technological change in the points of sale of urban buses and that has allowed to facilitate and optimize the payment system to users for such services.
The application called “App Tubasa-Muévete por Badajoz” is operational for the general public since last August 22 and can be downloaded for free on both Android and iOS systems.
To date, all services and bus journeys were paid in cash, something that is still maintained by the decision of the management company, but the user who wishes to do so may make the payment of journeys directly through the application itself.
The App Tubasa-Muévete por Badajoz, has several types of bonds that the user will select according to their needs, have passes for students, unemployed, ordinary pass, pass for children …
It consists of several sections, one for the user to fill in with their personal data, a section to load and check the balance available to the user, information on the different lines and bus stops in the city, as well as all the movements or journeys that are being made.
There is an innovative section called “Buskme” or Bus on demand, which is a customized service and allows optimizing night and weekend transport services, as it will enable a certain number of buses in that time slot and will move according to the demand for passengers.
The app has already been downloaded by more than 10,000 users, and we are sure it will be a great success and a way to modernize urban services in our city.
