The challenge
Promoting electric mobility and easing congestion on public roads with a flexible carsharing service.
Faced with the growing need to ease traffic congestion in city centers and avoid parking problems, Grupo Ruiz wanted to bring flexible carsharing to smaller cities. To do so, it needed an intelligent tool to manage a fleet of some fifty 100% electric vehicles for short periods of time, in which the entire process (from booking the car and accessing the vehicle to billing based on usage time and mileage) would be carried out through a mobile application.

Following the customer’s guidelines, XOne developed a mobility application to manage the car-sharing service. All its operation is managed and carried out through the mobile app, so no key is needed to start or stop the vehicle.
Its design is simple and offers a very intuitive user experience, making it very easy and convenient to use.
It is used by end users who want to rent a vehicle. This “rental” is booked in advance through the mobile application and paid for according to the use made of the vehicle, either by time or by mileage, with billing at the end of the month.
